BANGALADUMPA BATANI VEPUDU

INGREDIENTS:

  • Potatoes : 2 medium sized
  • Green Peas : ½ cup
  • Onion : 1 medium sized
  • Green chillies : 2
  • Curry leaves : 5-6
  • Turmeric : a pinch
  • Coriander powder : 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
  • Urad dal : 1tsp
  • Chana dal : 1tsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste : 1tbsp
  • Coriander leaves : few

PROCEDURE :

  • Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,urad dal,chana dal,curry leaves.
  • Now add onions,green chillies and sauté till onions turn translucent
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till the raw smell disappears.
  • Add turmeric,green peas and fry for few minutes
  • Add boiled and cubed potatoes and salt,coriander powder,red chilly powder and fry for about 10 min
  • Turn off the heat and garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve hot as accompany to rice and dal/sambar or with chapathisType your paragraph here.
