DONUTS

INGREDIENTS:

  • Water : 1 cup
  • active dry yeast : 5 tsp
  • all-purpose flour : 1 cup
  • butter : ½ cup
  • sugar : ½ cup
  • eggs : 2 large
  • salt : 1tsp
  • flour : 3 ½ cups§ Water : 1 cup

  • flour : 3 ½ cups​

PROCEDURE :

  • In a bowl add sugar, dry east, water, milk, salt, egg, mix it till the sugar melts
  • now add all purpose flour, mix it well make in to a dough and kneading for 5 to 7 minutes and add butter again kneading for 3 minutes and rest it for 30 minutes in a warm place, after 30 minutes give knock back and again rest for 30minutes.
  • Roll to ½ inch thick. Cut with a doughnut-cutter or two sizes of bottle caps(small and big).again cover with cloth and set aside for few more minutes.you can also try different shapes with cookie cutters
  • Heat oil in a pan. Fry a few doughnuts at a time.
  • Place the fried donuts on paper towels
  • Dust some powdered sugar on them and enjoy.
