FRENCH TOAST

INGREDIENTS :

  • Bread : 4 slices
  • Sugar : 2tbsp
  • Butter : 4 tbsp
  • Eggs : 4
  • milk : ¼ cup
  • vanilla extract : ¼ tsp
  • ground cinnamon : ½ tsp
  • ground Nutmeg : a pinch
  • maple syrup : for serving(optional)

PROCEDURE :

  • In a small bowl combine cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar and set aside.
  • Whisk together cinnamon mixture, eggs, milk, vanilla and pour into a shallow container or a plate
  • In a pan melt butter over medium heat
  • Now dip bread in the egg mixture and fry slices until golden brown on each side.
  • Serve with maple syrup or honey if desired.
