GONGURA PAPPU

INGREDIENTS:

  • onion : 1
  • garlic cloves : 6
  • dry red chilli: 3
  • cumin seeds : 1 tsp
  • Mustard seed : 1 tsp
  • oil : 1tbsp
  • gongura leaves : 2 Cup
  • Toor dal : 1 Cup
  • salt : as needed
  • curry leaves : 1 Spring
  • red chilly powder : 2 tsp(optional)
  • green chillies : 2

DIRECTIONS :

  • Pressure cook Toor dal
  • Wash gongura and keep it a side.
  • Take a pan add oil,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,red chilli dry,garlic crushed,curry leaves
  • Now add onions,turmuric,green chilli,salt andmix
  • now add gongura leaves mix well and cook till oil oozes out.
  • Now add boiled dal and mix well if required add some salt
  • Add water while stirring to get the desired consistency
