• Rava/Sooji/semolina : 1cup
  • Sugar : 1 cup
  • Ghee : 4tbsp
  • Milk(should be hot) : as required
  • Cashews : few
  • Raisins : few
  • Cardamom powder : 2tsp


  • In a pan add ghee and fry cashews,raisins. keep them aside
  • In the same pan fry sooji till light brown or when nice aroma comes out
  • In a mixie powder sugar>
  • In a bowl add suji,powdered sugar,cardamom powder,nuts and mix well
  • add hot milk little by little and mix well.stop adding milk when you are able to make laddu’s out of it
  • when the mixture is warm make laddus out of it
  • rava laddus are ready
  • Store in an airtight container and relish when desired


To store rava laddu's for a long time replace milk with ghee
